GoMAD Kids' Club August 2018

Pics of the Kids' Club activities

Every morning at about 10 a.m. activities started with singing
... with actions, of course.
...led by enthusiastic leaders
…. er, and dancing!
This was followed by a clip from a DVD.....
.... showing different events from Jesus' life.
...followed by a bit of drama.
The kids then separated into groups for
colouring in ..
This was also when they got juice and biscuits.
Older kids did wordsearches
Even the wee ones were occupied.
Another group started with Drama
acting out scenes from the DVD
sometimes quite enthusiastically!
sometimes confrontationally!
Each day the groups did a craft activity based on the theme.
This one's self-explanatory.....
....but these were fish.
The cock crowed three times..
.. loaves and fishes..
.. fishes..
and tombs (individual tombs are on the table at the back).
The weather was mostly good, so games were played outside.
A bit of competition helps ...
.. but general running about is OK too.
When the weather wasn't so good games were indoors ....
... with parachute games always popular.
They all gathered again for aerobics...
.....
......
.. and a bit of yoga.
The morning ended with more singing
with more actions
led by our own band
and a lot of demonstrators!
Apart from the beginning and end..
.. the smaller children played in the creche..
.....
Games continued in the afternoon....
